Tooth Whitening

An increasingly popular and easy way to improve your smile is through the use of an appropriately prescribed tooth whitening treatment. We are pleased to offer two different but equally effective methods for whitening your teeth.

In-Office Treatment

Our in-office tooth-whitening treatment takes approximately 90 minutes to achieve noticeable improvement in the brightness of your simile (we recommend a cleaning prior to treatment). The procedure begins with a short preparation period during which we apply a thin layer of Zoom! Whitening Gel. Once the gel has been applied, we administer a special ultraviolet whitening lamp to the tooth surface, and in as little as 45 minutes, the interaction of the ultraviolet light with the Zoom! Gel breaks up stains and tooth discoloration. Although excellent results can be seen in one office visit, custom-made whitening trays will be delivered to allow for in-home touch-ups (in some cases optimum results may require one or two additional visits.)

Take-Home Treatment

Our take-home treatment requires two short office visits, after which you apply the tooth whitening treatment at home. During an initial, diagnostic visit, we take impressions of your teeth, which allows us to fabricate a custom-fit “whitening tray” to hold the Nite White whitening gel. At your follow-up visit, we deliver your custom-made whitening trays and give you specific instructions on how to use the trays and whitening gel at home. Then, simply follow the directions provided and you will notice a brighter smile in two short weeks!
